With over 25 years of experience behind the chair, I’ve had the pleasure of working with diverse hair types, textures and styles, ranging from everyday cuts to intricate bridal updos. My approach to hairstyling is all about collaboration. I work closely with each client to understand their lifestyle, personal style, & the look they want to achieve. Whether it’s a fresh
cut, a stunning color transformation, or special event styling, my goal is to create a look that enhances your natural beauty.
Hair is my canvas, and everyday I strive to create styles that are not only fashionable but tailored specifically to you.
About Key to Beauty
As a salon owner, I’m proud to lead a team of highly trained & talented stylists & estheticians who are passionate about “beauty” as I am. We stay ahead of industry trends through ongoing education so we can offer the latest & best techniques to our clients.
I came up with the name of the salon because I am proud of my Azorean Heritage & I am a family-oriented individual, and I wanted my last name to be included in my business name. In English, my last name translates to 'keys,' which inspired me to incorporate that element into my logo.
Born and raised in Taunton, and I have lived here my entire life. When I opened my salon, one of my primary goals was to give back to the community, particularly during the holiday season. We aim to give back during holiday season. We’ve worked with several organizations with the help of our clients to give back to local families especially during the holidays.
Our “lounge” is designed to be an oasis where you can escape, relax, and enjoy a pampering experience. From the moment you walk through our doors, you’ll feel welcomed, and we’ll make sure every visit leaves you feeling refreshed & beautiful

Hi! I'm Emily, a dedicated hairstylist at Key to Beauty with a passion for scalp therapy and creating vivid, eye-catching colors. I believe in the transformative power of a healthy scalp and vibrant hair. I strive to make every client feel and look their best.
I love working at Key to Beauty because they allow me to be myself.I thrive in dynamic environments where creativity is encouraged.I love organizing team-building activities and coming up with innovative games that bring people together and boost morale.
I’m great with kids because I make sure every visit is relaxed and enjoyable for them. I take the time to listen, smile, and connect, making them feel comfortable and included. I like to keep things lighthearted—talking to them about their favorite things. I’m patient and flexible, adapting to each child’s energy, whether they’re shy or full of energy. My goal is always to make haircuts fun and positive, so they leave feeling happy and excited about their new look!
